Geared towards ages 5-8 (siblings welcome).

Objective: Understand the composition of ocean water, explore the factors that make it salty, and learn about buoyancy and its significance for marine life.

  • Explanation of why the ocean is salty.
  • Introduction to density and buoyancy
  • Salt water vs fresh water investigation.
  • Exploration of buoyancy through various objects and substances.
  • Explanation and exploration of how swim bladders help fish control their buoyancy.
  • Create an ocean scene
