Description
Help Piglet investigate why the acorns are disappearing.
Big Ideas:
Change: As the weather changes and becomes cooler, animals and trees prepare for winter.
Cycles: Trees go through life cycles from seed, to seedling, to sapling, to mature tree. The adult tree produces seeds to start the process all over again.
Interdependence: Lots of animals depend on acorns in the fall. Oak trees depend on gravity and flowing water, but primarily on animals, to spread their seeds.
For PreK-2nd Grade: 1-2 Weeks
This is part of a larger unit: Falling into Fall with Winnie the Pooh
Includes: 5-6 activities, takes approx. 1-2 weeks to complete
